How It Works
When you watch a video on YouTube or listen to music on Spotify, your computer stays awake. This tool does exactly the same thing - it tells your browser that media is playing, which prevents your system from going to sleep.
Three Methods Combined
- Wake Lock - Requests the browser to keep the screen active
- Audio - Plays silent audio so the system thinks you're listening to media
- Video - Plays a hidden video so the system thinks you're watching content
What It Prevents
- Screen dimming and turning off
- Computer going to sleep
- Microsoft Teams showing "Away" status
- Slack, Zoom, and other apps marking you as idle
Tips
- Keep this tab open (can be in background)
- Works on Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Close the tab anytime to stop
Privacy
Everything runs locally in your browser. No external connections, no tracking, no data sent anywhere.
